The hunt for Merlin

Now that GenAI is pushing the benchmark of intelligence some notches higher by the day, learning our equivalent of magical spells that can cast magically intelligent output from GenAI must be the new gold rush or a subset of the ongoing gold rush of building the most powerful magical realm of neural networks. Therefore, we must be on the hunt for the Merlins of our time.

Many King Arthurs

In the current time, if we have many King Arthurs, then it follows that we need many Merlins. Even if we end up with just one realm of charms, the Merlins should be the ones to make the difference for the kings and their kingdoms.

Prerequisites of magic

The little kid in us must have retained the question we used to ask if why magic just cannot work to solve all the troubles of the world. Why there seems to be many requirements before a good spell is cast? Same mysteries must have been retained even if we do things way differently now than the very old days.

Prompt engineering

Just like the way we named the technology as AI for artificial intelligence, we call the new magical spells as "prompts" and what is supposed to be a very interesting art of casting the spells as "prompt engineering". We tend to be a bit more technical nowadays even if the magic of life must retain the old charms. But is not it that the old days seems to know better by aptly differentiating the magi from the witches?

Magi and witches

The hunt for Merlins of our time should be the good adventure, perhaps of greater importance today for the kingdoms. There might be witches to challenge the magi, but the adversarial spectacle can only make life truly magical. Therefore, as we take on the challenge to find our Merlin, beware of falling into the witchcraft for the spells may look deceivingly the same.
