Are we in the race?
There must be good reasons why we are called the human race. The generational cycles seem to have a common theme of endless pursuit towards our continuing evolution. In this time that we are in, the pace is substantially increased and is exponentially gathering the known while driving us into greater unknowns. The generational overlap has become very challenging that there must be times we might be asking ourselves if we are still in the race, and if it's worth anything to run at the current pace. But as always since the beginning, staying alive means keeping ourselves in the race.
Is Gen AI of any help to us?
The technology we have today offers very interesting proposition. It is empowering anyone who gets their hand to it, yet also exposes how powerless we can be if it's used against us. Even the creators of the technology themselves wonder if the continuing pursuit for advancement is making any sense. Gen AI is indeed a new technological revolution and is certainly needed as we face the challenges of our time. The true question we must answer is how we can let it help us.
How should we run the race?
Gen AI offers immediate help to get us started by augmenting our knowledge. It is the same knowledge that should tell us how well we can run with it, how past our pace must be and towards which direction. But perhaps, we must also carefully consider if who are we running with and what must be the goal at the finish line of every stage. It is in the same way as the life of many generations before us, a multi-stage race. But perhaps in our time, there are more stages. We must run the race then based on our unique context that we may add to the meaning of parameter convergence. It is the reconciliation point in human terms, for competitions of whatever nature must have some rest.
How to win?
We must have different definition of winning and we are free to keep it distinct for ourselves. But certainly, there is always a good way to win and the chance for winning is very much open with Gen AI. We at PRAGMAGILITY know the foundational system and use case architectures for winning business models. One constant that will remain is the dependency to one's context and the demand for expertise to understand and to change a context if need be. That is the common theme of the ways we can collectively win in this race.
